Weekly number of reported cases in England is over 42 000.

As of 21st April:
Case reporting by England only. Weekly number of reported cases at over 75 000.

As of 25th March 2022:
Daily number of reported cases at over 80 000.

As of 29th December 2021:
7 day average of number of reported cases is over 173 000.

As of 27th November:
Two UK cases reported of a new Covid-19 variant called B.1.1.529 designated as the Omicron variant.

As of 19th October:
Daily number of reported cases is over 50 000 with 7 day average over 46 000.

As of 18th September:
Average number of deaths per week is above 1000.

As of 17th July:
Number of positive cases per day rose sharply in July to over 54 000.

As of 21st February:
Over 18 000 people are in UK hospitals with the virus. Deaths are averaging over 400 people per day.

As of 21st January 2021:
The number of people testing positive in England is in decline but remains around 30 000 per day.
