No. You can have Bluetooth and GPS Location switched off. The Site Safe 19 App only works when you scan into a venue. The rest of the time the App is switched off and does not do anything.
The App only keeps a record of where you have been on your phone. This is checked against a list of risky locations when you scan a new place. The information about where you have been is not kept on the Safe19 system.
You can delete any location you wish to from those held on your phone. Just swipe and delete.

No, the Site Safe19 App does not use Bluetooth or GPS. It only finds where you have been from the QR code scan. The rest of the time the App is not working, it is off.

To keep the App simple, only the top 3 risk locations are shown. All locations are checked for risk.

To keep the app simple only 5 locations are shown on the Home Page. The List places page shows all locations.
App Problems

Make sure the QR code is flat and try not to hold the phone at an angle. The QR code should be in good condition.

The App needs permission to allow it to use your phone’s camera. This should have come up with a little message to allow you to use the phone camera. If by mistake, the technology has become confused, go into the Menu App settings and click allow camera.

Most phone scanners work best with the rear camera. If you are in selfie mode, please change to the other view.

Safe19’s authorised administrator for your company needs to provide us with your name and site details.

NO – Details of any infection risk at your business will be known only to the Site Manager.
The Site Manager can respond to this risk by putting their own message on the App, e.g. “Please contact Site Manager” or using their own email system.
If the Site Manager wishes to proceed with the App auto alert, anyone else who has visited your location at a risk time and date will be alerted via the App.
The Site Manager is the only person who is authorised to view the actual risk information – dates and times etc.

Once we receive the Trial Agreement Form our aim is to return your bespoke App and QR codes by the end of the next working day.
